Can You Help Us?

We are always looking for assistance both in-house with tutoring, educating, and our administration needs, as well as from those abroad who have special skills they can contribute electronically.

Right now we need help with the following:

Sponsorship Database

Set it Up at Our Centre or From Your Office or Home and Send to Us Electronically

We need a sponsorship database set up for us.¬† Do you know how to work with Filemaker? Or do you work with a different program that might work even better for us?¬† We need a database that will allow us to capture each child’s details (school marks, home situation, birth registration, photos, etc.) and that enables us to produce this information in attractive and simple reports that we can send electronically or as a hard-copy to each child sponsor.¬† The system must also allow us to manage our sponsor files.

Tutoring

Work at Our Centre

We are in need of tutors for subjects such as Math, English, Biology, and the sciences. You need a minimum of your Grade XII to tutor for us.

Newsfeed Editing and Writing

Work From Our Centre or Help Us Electronically

This task may be undertaken from abroad. We’ll take the photos and provide a description of the news item. We need someone to make our newsfeeds interesting and to set them up on our Mailchimp database and feed to our Facebook page.

Administration

Work From Our Centre

We are always in need of on-going help with our Administration. Hopefully you are willing and able to do filing, a bit of bookkeeping, and to work with our sponsorship database to keep us up to date.

Over the years we have hosted the most interesting and helpful volunteers from all over the world.

We consider our international volunteers a core part of our team. Partners such as Africa Inland Mission, Serving In Mission, and the Center for Global Education Namibia Program frequently send committed and enthusiastic volunteers to help us serve the children in our community. We are so thankful for their support and enthusiasm!
